Features of modern migrations and their consequences (Review)

The review examines the scale, dynamics and features of modern migration flows both in the global context and in relation to Russia. The issues of estimating the number of migrants, including emigrants from Russia and refugees from Ukraine, are discussed. Information is provided on the socio-economic consequences of different types of migration, which serve as the basis for the formulation of tasks and directions of the state migration policy.
