Labor migration in the Russian Federation regions: trends, potential, prospects
This paper describes the transformation of labor migration in post-Soviet Russia. Pays particular attention to the current migration situation in the regions of the Russian Federation. On the one hand, makes sense of the Russian regions' migration potential in its methodological dimension. On the other hand, gives an empirical assessment of labor migration based on official statistics. Shows some arguments and conclusions regarding the risks and prospects for the development of migration processes in the regions of Russia in the foreseeable future.
