Homo Perficiens: from human ecology to ecological techno-humanism

The study is devoted to the analysis of modern environmental and biosociocultural transformations. The methodological basis of the study is the ideas of human ecology and humanology of various authors. Transhumanism, understood as a person’s desire for improvement, is considered, and various approaches to it are analyzed. Particular attention is paid to possible environmental risks. The author introduced the concept of Homo Perficiens (improving person), since it is constant improvement that characterizes human existence both in the natural environment and in society. Based on a sociocultural approach, several possible future scenarios are considered, the most desirable of which seems to be ecological techno-humanism, maintaining a balance between nature, technology and man.
