Digitization of the Energy Industry as an Incentive for the Transformation of Engineer Competences

The article discusses the issues of digital transformation of the energy industry in Russia. The problems of intellectualization of energy and increasing the digital literacy of power engineers in the light of the Fourth Industrial Revolution are highlighted separately. A modification of the STEAM educational model for training engineers for digital energy is proposed.
