Global labor market trends and the specifics of employment in Russia

Trends in the employment of the population and the transformation of the labor market are a traditional subject of scientific research and the object of constant monitoring by international, government and commercial structures. Moreover, the dynamism and continuity of the transformation processes necessitate the continuation of their study. Modern geopolitical conditions and changing internal circumstances in Russia determine the relevance of addressing the topic of employment in order to clarify its prospects and develop recommendations for practical actions to provide the economy with labor. At the same time, the specific state of the domestic labor market, the so-called «personnel shortage», can be considered as a trigger for the transition to a new intensive model of socio-economic development.
