Problems of employment analysis and forecasting in emerging markets: the example of Uzbekistan
The possibilities of using traditional macroeconomic models with an indicator of labor costs as one of the main growth factors are analyzed. Using the example of Uzbekistan, the limitations of this approach are justified due to the incompleteness and poor quality of existing statistical reporting on the labor market. Alternative approaches are proposed that focus on more reliable statistical reporting and on the results of sociological research that have a higher practical value.
