Contradictions of the modern labor market in Turkey

The COVID-19 pandemic has caused economic contractions and employment vulnerabilities for Turkish economy. In the post-COVID period (in the 2020 s), economic problems (high inflation, devaluation of the Turkish lira, etc.) affected negatively on employment in the country. Nevertheless, statistical data of the situation on Turkish labor market was better than experts predicted. There is a shirtage of high-skilled personnel especially in high-tech industries in Turkey. In the future we can expect a strengthening of competitiveness for well-educated specialists.
