Employment in Russia: How significant are the changes in recent years?
The changes in the economy of the Russian Federation which have ocсurred after 2021 are reflected in the country's labor market. Many enterprises that fulfill government orders in the new conditions have become more attractive, primarily in terms of the amount of possible employee income. The latter creates incentives for the redistribution of employees between different types of economic activity. The article presents and analyzes the changes in the sectoral structure of employment in this country that occurred after 2021, in general as well in large and medium-sized enterprises. The article also examines the change in annual working hours and its impact on reducing the existing supply deficit in the Russian labor market.
