International cooperation in the Arctic: past and present

The article discusses the process of formation and development of the Arctic Council, which has been the main platform for cooperation between the Arctic states for more than a quarter of a century. Shows the features of its status and structure, as well as areas of activity and their results. Reflectes the influence of the special military operation in Ukraine on the work of the Arctic Council and the proposed formats of its further functioning.
