Human-machine interaction in the context of development urban unmanned airmobility
The concept of “urban air mobility” appeared about 15 years ago and means the movement of goods and passengers in the airspace above urbanized areas. The spread of such transport is largely determined by technology and the achievement of a high level of flight safety and reliability. In this regard, the importance of ensuring human-machine interaction in the processes of managing the traffic of unmanned devices and their piloting is increasing. This review considers the use of cognitive modeling technologies for the formation of urban air mobility and unmanned aerial delivery complexes, as well as the features of artificial intelligence technologies in on-board and ground control systems at the initial stage of unmanned civil aviation development. Examples of Russian and foreign experience in urban air mobility are given, and the technological and psychophysiological aspects of the implementation of similar systems that radically change the urban environment and the way of life of city residents are described. The review is a continuation of the series of materials published in the journals of the Institute of Scientific Information on Social Sciences of the Russian Academy of Sciences in 2022–2023.
