Intellectual trajectories and political orientations of the youth of the North Caucasus: digital discourse and social practices

The article introduces the authors' definition of intellectual trajectories of the youth of the North Caucasus as non-linear, multifunctional and dynamically formed strategies of self-development based on cognitive, educational and communicative competencies. Intellectual trajectories are expressed in the practices of volunteering and project activities, participation in digital initiatives, the creation of educational and informational content, online debates and intellectual games. The digital discourse of the region's youth is saturated with issues of social justice, interethnic relations, and professional selfdetermination. The results obtained emphasize the trend of increasing intellectual independence, critical thinking and social mobility of the youth of the North Caucasus in the context of the dominance of digital communication channels. A conclusion is made about the formation of a mature and responsible intellectual environment in the macroregion that integrates local traditions and global rends.
