Intellectual environment and game format in urban practice

The article considers the educational board game "Heritage Investors" as an element of the intellectual environment aimed at developing territories through the development of human and social capital by attracting the attention of game participants to local symbolic resources. The goal, rules and mechanics of the game are analyzed from the point of view of the dynamics of involvement, group interaction for developing skills and mastering techniques for working with symbols of the territory through the design of business chains based on local identity and including symbols in the heritage economy. The universal nature of the game space for different target audiences of participants is noted, recommendations are given for reducing risks, expanding its application in urban practice.
