Mathematical potential of urban environment for personal intellectual development
The article examines existing artifacts of the intellectual space of cities around the world from the point of view of their influence on the mental and moral development of the individual. Historical and modern practices of mathematization of the urban environment are analyzed. Examples of using the educational potential of mathematical artifacts are presented. Promising directions and possibilities of the intellectual urban environment for solving educational problems are determined. The importance of a conscious attitude to the possibilities of intellectualization of the urban environment in the interests of sustainable development is postulated.
